Photo Attachments

Attach a photo to any recording — useful for documenting the recording environment, location, source, or any visual reference you want linked to the audio file.

How to Attach

1. 1In the Naming View, tap the camera icon at the top of the screen.
2. 2Choose "Take Photo" or "Choose from Library" from the compact dropdown menu.
3. 3The photo is saved to Documents/Photos/ with a unique ID linking it to the recording.

Photos are automatically compressed to save storage while preserving quality. They are included in ZIP exports alongside the audio files.

Embedded Artwork

Attached photos are automatically embedded into your audio files. WAV files receive the artwork as an ID3v2 APIC tag; M4A files receive it as iTunes metadata. This means your artwork travels with the audio file — visible in Finder, Soundminer, AirDrop previews, and other tools without needing a separate image file.
