Exporting Your Library

CSV Export

Export your entire recordings database as a CSV file for import into sound library managers:

  1. 1**Includes**: All UCS metadata fields, location data, coordinates, file paths, audio format, file size, duration, sample rate, bit depth.
  2. 2**Industry-standard format**: CSV headers are aligned with common sound library management software field names for seamless import. Includes FXName, Designer, Manufacturer, Microphone, CategoryFull, Channels, and more.
  3. 3**Access**: Settings → Export → Export CSV

ZIP Export

Export filtered subsets of your library as complete archives:

  1. 1Open the **Export Filter Sheet** from Settings or the file browser.
  2. 2Set filters: category, subcategory, location, creator ID, date range.
  3. 3Preview how many files match.
  4. 4Export as ZIP: includes audio files + photos + CSV metadata.
  5. 5Share via AirDrop, Files, email, or any share destination.

ZIP Export is a Pro feature.

Visual Date Export *(New in Build 13)*

Export recordings organized by date:

  1. 1In the **Export Filter Sheet**, use the **calendar date picker** to select specific Year → Month → Day ranges.
  2. 2Enable **"Group by Date"** to create date-named subfolders inside the ZIP (e.g., `2026-03-05/`).
  3. 3Each subfolder contains only the recordings from that day, keeping your archive neatly organized by session date.

Library Statistics

The Export screen shows your library stats at a glance: total recordings, categories used, and file counts.
