Folder Organization
Sonidata can automatically organize your recordings into a UCS folder structure.
Organization Modes
| Mode | Structure | Example |
|---|---|---|

| **Disabled** | All files stay in Documents root | `Documents/ANMLDog_Bark.wav` |
| **Category Only** | One folder per category | `Documents/ANIMALS/ANMLDog_Bark.wav` |
| **Full** | Category + subcategory nesting | `Documents/ANIMALS-DOG/ANMLDog_Bark.wav` |
How to Configure
**Settings → Folder Organization**
- 1**Auto-Organize**: When enabled, files are moved to their UCS folder immediately after renaming.
- 2**Generate Folders**: Creates the complete UCS folder tree in your Documents directory (based on all categories in the UCS database).
- 3**Organize All**: Batch-organizes all existing recordings into folders based on their current metadata.
